TIME IS THE EVENT OF DISSOLUTION

The video is shot on the rooftop of a building in Barcelona. An halogen lamp is settled on a vertical bar, continuously scrolling up and down, the lamp gives a flat perception of the city's scenario, dividing the time flow in different states of attention. As soon as the Sun disappears the lamp replaces its function and form. Instead of disappearing it plunges inside the city's solid matter, shining in the darkness. The more the night gets closer the more the artificial Sun becomes stronger. The video wants to discover the possibility of connecting with the original event of time, taken as a phenomena that uses light and movement as open sources to play with, and to unveil, by capsizing their effects on perceptions of the matters with simple actions. The maker of the halogen light's movement is therefore hidden to the camera as the one who moves the Sun.
